Sibling Support and Teen Talk Studies

Are you a sibling or a parent of a sibling? Would you like to participate in sibling research? The Kids needs your help!

We are currently recruiting siblings and parents for two research projects:

Teen Talk Study

  • This study will explore sibling experiences of family, friends, social and recreational activities.
  • We need siblings of people with, and without, a developmental disability aged 13-19 years.
  • Participation will involve attending an online meeting and completing two brief questionnaires. You will be paid for your time.

Sibling Support Study

  • This study is focused on mental health support experiences and needs of siblings of children and young people who have a developmental disability.
  • We need siblings of people with a developmental disability aged 13-25 years, and parents of siblings who are aged 13-25.
  • Participation will involve attending an online meeting and completing two brief questionnaires. You will be paid for your time.
