Project description

This project addresses the growing issue of technology-facilitated abuse against women and girls, particularly in regional Western Australian communities where risks are heightened, and access to support is limited.

The project aims to co-design effective resources with regional WA communities, guided by the voices of boys and young men, to raise awareness of tech-based abuse and promote respectful relationships. It will also educate and support parents nationwide to understand, discuss, and manage online abuse, including what it is, why it matters, how to address it, and which behaviours are illegal.
