Do exposures before conception influence the risk of asthma in the offspring?

Investigators: David Martino

There is emerging evidence that asthma in offspring may result from exposures before conception. Our recent pilot work suggests some adverse exposures in both teenage boys and girls, long before they are considering a family, may increase asthma in their offspring. We now aim to investigate a range of potential pre-conception risk factors for offspring asthma.
