Congratulations to Gail Alvares from our Autism research team who has been named as one the ABC's Top 5 Under 40 scientists in residence.
Together with the University of New South Wales, the ABC's RN (Radio National) has been on a mission to discover Australia's next generation of science communicators and give them a voice.
Now the nationwide hunt is over, and six brilliant young minds have been chosen to undertake a media residency at RN.
