With an extensive operational background in Defence, Police and Emergency Services, Sarah recently completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Curtin Psychology and has commenced her PhD at UWA in 2022. A keen recreational marathon runner, Sarah has a particular interest in the benefits of exercise and physical activity on psychological health and wellbeing.
Her doctoral research will focus on the development, implementation and evaluation of a sports based intervention program aimed at assisting serving members of the Australian Defence Force who are transitioning from military to civilian life. The anticipated benefits of this research include improved mental health outcomes for both veterans and their families.
