Simon Garbellini is a Senior Occupational Therapist in the Cerebral Palsy Service and Research Coordinator within Kids Rehab WA at Perth Children’s Hospital. Simon is a clinical researcher with more than 30 years of clinical experience (>25 years with children with cerebral palsy) and a PhD awarded in 2021. Simon holds a conjoint position between Kids Rehab WA and Curtin University School of Allied Health.
Simon provides direct clinical care, using evidence informed practice, to children with cerebral palsy with complex movement disorders, chronic pain and hand and upper limb disorders. He leads Occupational Therapy for the Cerebral Palsy Service translating research knowledge into practice, championing clinical excellence and service development, and actively generating and participating in educational and research activities to improve the care and health outcomes for children with cerebral palsy.
